Proyecto Sol is a project of the Comunity Pope John XXIII since 2004, when they started to translate a few church services for deaf people in the Parroquia of the Resurrection in the town of Rimini. That is how Proyecto Sol with the Care for Deaf People and their families was created in Italy.

In 2005 Proyecto Sol was installed in Santiago de Chile, where the Community is alive with its spirituality and its vocation, developing many different activities.

This way a new General Service was formed in the Community Pope John XXIII: Care for Deaf People and Their Families with the ambition to spread the message of the Gospel.

The Community of Pope John XXIII at this moment helps to develop many projects and services for the Community of deaf people and their families in Italy, Chile, Brasil and Bolivia. Not to mention the admission of deaf people in need into the various communities in every country of the world where the association is represented.
